Devlog 94: Food and Inventory
Oh my, how long it’s been since I’ve written a devlog, more than two months!
Failed Kickstarter
I was bitter and frustrated following the failed Kickstarter. This is partly due I was (and still am) convinced that the quality of STX far surpasses other games which were funded and for a tremendous amount of money. I felt this was unfair and upset about it. It took me a bit of time to get over it and my bitterness turned to acceptance and after doing some freelance for a while working for other indie games, I rolled up my sleeves and resumed my work on STX.

Jeff has coded the inventory system and it’s pretty much good to go. We just need to actually integrate the art and it’ll be in-game for players to use. I’m hoping this will bring a new dimension of strategy to the game. I’m thinking feedback will then allow us to tweek item management to make it important enough to be an important part of battles.
