Devlog Day 7


No progress.

I messed up my sleep schedule and spend my day in a more or less vegetative state. I did not have energy to work on anything.

I pondered some things, whether I should use a proper tile map approach for the background and collisions. GB Studio does use a tile map internally, primarily as a memory optimisation. I also know that I should just implement any solution rather than ponder things forever.

I think I will run out of time for the Jam so I think I will scale back my plan and implement a dialogue system first as I will need that to tell a story.
