DevLog no.1!


Welcome to the first devlog everyone! this devlog is just to showcase the things I've already made in the past few days, and I hope to post a devlog every week, so let's get into the devlog!!

things I've finished-
-I've implemented a grabbing system where you can grab objects from a distance and when your hand is intersecting or near an object, I hope the distance makes the game a bit more fun and interactable for the players.
-as in the video, I've added a sword and a bow, still working on the bow to be fully functional because you can only dock arrows into it while the sword is kind of done(just need hit detection and to import my own model because I used a unity asset), I'm also thinking of adding a shield in to protect the player because in close range combat you can get very vulnerable without a form of protection. after I'm done with all of that though ill finish the weapon selection off with a wand and maybe pair a book with it to choose different spells.
-for locomotion, all I've added is a teleportation option since I want players to move around their playspace and be active, and also for every player to be on the same playing ground, but what do you think? should I add a continuous option aswell?
-for the lever I showcased in the video, I'm unsure on what its purpose will be in the game, maybe a lever to let the game start? like I said I'm unsure, so suggestions will come in handy.

-functioning bow, sword, and wand
-basic enemies
-player rotation using joystick
