DEVLOG NO.2


Hi, Fern speaking.

As of late you may have noticed Rigged Votes has been cancelled again, and yes, I am not kidding. Rigged Votes has caused me so much pain over the years and eventually... it caused my hatred for Firey Jr. to resurface.

You will not see Rigged Votes ever again, nor will you see Firey Jr. anywhere in Under Dream Island. He has been written into abandonment.

You can see what was done for it here and there.

In its place, we're introducing a new Disbelief counterpart named... Disbelief. (How original.) And in Firey Jr's place, Coiny now takes the rightful role of Papyrus.

UDI: Disbelief aims to take more of an inspiration only to the original Disbelief. Atleast its predecessor won't haunt me anymore... Goodbye, Firey Jr, rot in hell...

As for progress with the main game... I have some good news: I'm learning overworld map spriting!

Next up

we're still working on the rebrand and rewrite as of late but we'll probably start coding progress again soon

for now have an older conceptual design we had considered before ultimately scrapping
