Hello again! This time I was highly concentrated on fixing things and polishing previous puzzles based on feedback that I got from different testers. So I revisited various old puzzle rooms and made them larger, more interesting and challenging! For example:
This illusion room, where you use a 4 direction pad to move a block around the room, used to be very straightforward once you get the idea how to move a cube, now the room itself is way larger, and you loose a cube if you push it into a hole, also you can now fall into a hole too, once that happens you need to start everything all over again. It will require patience and strategy, to take some time before making a move.
In this room I upgrade an old puzzle, now it’s harder and more complicated, you need to stand right between the gap in that constantly chain which consists of beads, once you complete it once, the beads will drop and a new type of puzzle appears. Before the upgrade it used to be a boring time consuming puzzle, now it will require your timing skills.
Portal puzzle received it’s own upgrade as well, now it has two new type of traps, instead of just going to random directions, till you figure out where to go, you will have to stop and think, otherwise you will have to deal with these traps.
Also I introduced more levels in between the old ones, so that people who already played the old version would find something new.
Here is another new puzzle that I did, it’s a huge room with many locks, you will have to constantly navigate across the room, collect keys and avoid tricky traps. I remade my trap collision system, now it’s very accurate and fair.
Also I started to work on a second alternative dungeon, that you will be able to access any time through the main hub:
This new dungeon will eventually lead you to a mechanical district, it will also have it’s own mini hub with different paths.
The next version will also have lots of secrets like this hidden in random places, I really want people to do some exploration in order to collect them all : )
