Devlog of the upcoming Update No.1
Hello! First I want to say thank you very much to everyone, who downloaded and played the game. To those who are interested in the future content, I have some very good news for you! For the past few weeks I have been working really hard on the next expansion. After the release of the demo, I received a lot of good criticism and suggestions how to improve the overall game and give more depth to the gameplay elements. Currently I’m concentrated on creating a better presentation of an open world feeling, with more places to explore, things to collect, unlock and give more clarity for rooms, to make the whole place connected. Here are some new things that you will see in the upcoming update:
Secret puzzle pieces to collect.
Boss Battles.
Improved and prolonged intro sequence.
Lots of new puzzles.
Huge main hall location, which serves as a HUB, where you will keep going back to and unlock new paths and secrets.
New memories and lore elements.
One of the new things, that you will see in the upcoming Slowdive update, is a big, brass, puzzle statue. There will be lots of little pieces scattered all around the game, what will happen when you collect them all? Secret ending maybe? Or something else? Everything will be explained with the next update : )
This huge cone is a unique installment which was built to serve as a protection system against anyone who is trespassing in the forbidden district, it has a big supply of spheres which can follow and track down any intruder.
Unknown hostile creatures who came from the wasteland in huge numbers. The little ones are called trilobites and they are neutral or sometimes even friendly, while their bigger cousins are more primitive and aggressive. You will learn more about them in the game.
Golems are guardian units, built with a purpose just like any other trap to slash every intruder. They have a limited vision, and will activate if someone gets into their radius.
All of this, and more you will experience soon.. It’s not easy to be a sole game developer, with limited free time. I’m trying my best to deliver it sooner. But it’s very time consuming.. My apologies, for all the waiting :/
