Work this month has been a little slower with things like school and college starting again, but we feel we've still gotten a good enough amount
In relation to the updated tunnels rooms, they're still being worked on, with some more spriting being done since last devlog, though less. But, while sketches before had mostly been just concepts and ideas, we're starting to get a much better idea now on what we want the finalised tunnels to really look like!
We were having some issues before with some details, but it seems we now have them all figured out.
Quite a few sprites have been finished, Alec now has all of their movement sprites completed and our main tagalong for Snowdin also does. A few other sprite animations have been finished also.
As the tunnels has been getting updates to some parts, we've decided to entirely remake the puzzles code-wise. This so far is helping in fixing some issues noticed with them before, and it shouldn't take long at all for all the puzzles to be entirely coded once again.

In the next month, I plan to start putting some of the new visuals for the tunnels into the actual game, and hopefully by the end of October, a majority of rooms for the first half of the Tunnels will have finished variables and puzzles within them.
As this is done, aslong as enough writing is done and we have the sprites required, some cutscenes for the tunnels should soon be getting worked or reworked on again.
Even though it won't be a part of the demo, we plan to possibly get a head start on the second main area of the game. It wouldn't be anything big as we are still mainly focused on the demo content of course, but it would allow us to have some designs already prepared to get straight into other work for that next area once the demo is complete!
