Big news: we’re officially ditching Blueprints and moving to C++!
Now, don’t get us wrong, Blueprints have been great. They’re like LEGO for game logic: easy to pick up, satisfying to snap together, and perfect for building ideas fast. But once your LEGO tower starts resembling a tangled mess of wires and noodles… It’s time to move on.
With C++, it’s cleaner, faster, and gives us way more control. We’re not just plugging nodes together anymore; we’re talking directly to the engine, customizing systems exactly how we want them. No more hunting for that one rogue wire causing chaos in a sea of nodes.
Switching to C++ also means fewer performance headaches, more modular code, and way better version control (because merge conflicts in Blueprints are the stuff of nightmares). It’s helping us streamline our workflow, reduce bloat, and build more powerful systems without the spaghetti.
So yeah, Blueprints were the tutorial wheels—we loved them, we learned a lot—but we’re riding solo now. And the ride’s already smoother.
Stay tuned for more updates, bugs we regret, and all the cool stuff we build next.
Until next time!
