DEVLOG: Week One


DEVLOG:
Day one, 2.27.18 Tues: I have decided to make a game by coding three things every day for a year.
#1:oChar
Our main character. W=jump, A,D=move,Z=zoom view.
#2:oNogo
Now oChar won’t simply fall against a grey screen. He has something to land on.
#3:oEnemyType0
Now there is a goal to the game, survive by not touching these guys! They simply move left and fall, but they are lethal!
Day one complete, satisfaction, no errors.
Tomorrow:Back ground, trees, and a hopping badguy.

Day two,2.28.18 Weds: Minor update 0.0.0.1
#1:oBlock
Retextured oNogo
#2:oDirt
Retextured oNogo
#3:bakSky
Clouds on a blue sky background (low quality)
#4:bakDirt
A background the same as oDirt sprite
#5:level1extension
Made a level slightly larger
Bonus!!!
#6:oCoin
A coin worth 5 points, 1 coin
#7:level1extension
Made a level slightly larger
#8:enemyType1
He jumps up and down in place.
#9:falling kills you
You fall, you die
#10:Dieing shows the scoreboard.
#11:A couple tweaks on oEnemyType0
Now they can hit a block or a marker and turn around.
Tomorrow:
Flying enemy, dagger vendertron, throwing daggers, next level(and save feature).

Day three:
#1:oEnemyType2
A red bird that flies back and forth.
#2:global.INVp1coin
#3:global.INVp1dagger
#4:oDagger
Your first weapon. You may throw a dagger in the direction of your mouse. It will fall with gravity.
Tomorrow:
A new level, a new badguy, and a spring board.

Day four:
Began coding late.
#1:oEnemyType3
A spike wheel. It is broken.
#2:oSave
You can save at a weird looking disk. I’ll have to add an animation to this later.
#3:You can load a game by pressing ‘L’
#4:oEnemyType1 will only begin moving after touching the boundary of the view. Later I’ll make it so it simply moves even if it begins in the starting view.
#5:Made a brutal mountain level with a bunch of presses and walkers and hoppers. Need to soften.
Tomorrow:Spring board, jump boots, soften level 2 and add some more to it, and fix Enemy type 3

Day five:
#1:Did some tweaks to oEnemyType0 that are revolutionary. I am going to implement this in all enemies. They dont start moving till you get close.
#2:Fixed oEnemyType3, now it bounces and wraps around the screen.
#3:Added spring boards.
#4:Fixed second level.

Day six:
#1:oGrassyDirt
Dirt, with a new texture.
#2:oFakeBlock
Looks like a block, but is not solid.
#3:oSecretBlock
These dissapear when the player draw near.
#4:Fixed backgrounds

Seecret Saturday Night Package:
New blocks
Fake blocks.
Tiny Blocks, dirt, nogo.
Invisible teleport block
2 new badguys
Drawn Hud
2 Types of armor
