Hello, everybody! It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Well, for once, we have good news, and I believe everyone may get excited. : )
As the head director of Demolitale, I am pleased to present to you the return of an old dev, Greloom! What will Greloom do, exactly? Well, he’s an absolute programming genius! He knows his way around Linux and Mac very well, and is currently saving up to get the appropriate copy of GMS he needs to work with. In other words, we finally have Mac and Linux covered! The best part is that Greloom has a deep passion for Demolitale, and would likely be working on it very often.
Ironically, I believe that when he saves up and gets said copy of GMS, that Linux may be the first edition of DT to release (the alpha, anyway). Windows, despite its mass popularity in the gaming industry, doesn’t have a lot of programmers to work with in the UT community. They’re almost always busy, quit the first week (without doing anything), or just don’t want to work at all. However, surprise! Greloom can program on Windows, too! He can use something called a Cross API, meaning that DT will be able to work across multiple platforms. Exciting, right?
Demolitale Brown Director Purrsum is still working on finishing up the Undertale Purple demo he lost alongside Demolitale from his brother’s careless deleting a few months ago. Once that’s finished, the engine should be good to use for DT on Windows, if not replaced by Greloom.
Oh no! I forgot to find a piece of content to share in our devlog! Hm, lemme look around my files…
Found it! Everyone, I present to you a new texture for an unnamed and unpurposed spell. It’s a WIP right now, and may be very strainful on the eyes, which is what we are working on preventing. For now, I will hide it behind a spoiler block.
WARNING: THOSE WHO ARE PHOTOSENSITIVE AND SUFFER FROM EPILEPSY SHOULD NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, VIEW THIS ANIMATION. WE AREN’T SURE OF HOW SAFE IT IS FOR SOMEONE SUFFERING FROM SAID CONDITION TO VIEW. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
For those who could see it safely, could you please provide feedback? Does it hurt to look at, or is it alright? Do you believe it could hurt someone, or do you think it’s safe? We want our players to be safe when using our product, so please respond in the poll below.
Lastly, I’m going to start a tradition where I advertise the Discord server. Why? Because Discord’s a god-send, that’s why! Want to hang out with other Demolitale fans and meet the developers, get early or exclusive sneak peeks, and have some fun? Be sure to drop by our Discord server, which supports all 3 Demolitale games together! We’d love to have you here; just be sure to read and agree to the rules in the Welcome channel first!

Now that that’s out of the way, I’d like to thank you all for almost 700 followers! We’ve really come a long way, huh? Every day, new content and ideas are created, and we as devs enjoy every moment of it. Here’s to hoping we can finally put our content and ideas into a playable format! Anyway, thank you so much for following the development of Demolitale and its sibling titles. I’ll see you in the next dev log. : )
