Howdy, folks!
I apologize for another patch so soon, there hasn't actually been any bugs reported that warranted another patch (which is great!), but there have been some suggestions from you guys that made me want to put out one last patch before I leave the game alone for a few weeks.
As I said in the last post, I need to focus on my university work now, but it's hard to focus if I'm not satisfied with DFC, so this patch is mostly just for my own peace of mind so I can leave the game alone without worrying too much.
It's a shorter changelog than usual, but I hope the extra polish this patch brings will improve the overall experience for you!
Here's the changelog:
- Added a new command, "/togglebadge", which will enable/disable the badges next to player names.
- Added new variants to the badges to help them be more easily told apart and to reward dedicated players. The new variants are as follows:
Pacifists with 2000 spares will now receive a bronze pacifist badge, 5000 spares will receive a gold pacifist badge, and 10000 spares will receive a diamond pacifist badge.
Genociders that are LV 20 will now receive a bronze knife badge, LV 50 will receive a gold knife badge, and LV 99 will receive a diamond knife badge.
- Tweaked the appearance of the genocide knife badge and the admin-only badge (which now looks like a heart rather than a save point).
- Getting a corruption battle will now autosave the game, so that if you die to the corruption you won't lose any progress.
- Since there's a toggle for badges now, the "Plain" nametag style will now display badges like the other styles do.
- Fixed an oversight where the Tem Armor chest said that the armor had 500 DEF when it actually has 200.
- Fixed the collision with Gyftrot in Snowdin.
That's all for now! I apologize again for a small update so soon, I just wanted to leave v2.5 as polished as I can for you guys before I leave for a couple weeks.
With this patch released, I no longer have plans for another patch at the end of this month (unless something big comes up), and I will instead immediately begin work on v3.0.0 as soon as I finish my assignments!
Anyway, thanks again for playing, and as always, stay determined!
