Difficulty Patch #1 Released for Undertale Customs!


Hi fellow Underground Dwellers,

Over the release of Undertale Customs, I’ve been taking in many of the criticisms people have had with the game’s difficulty, and have finally answered to it! The official Undertale Customs Difficulty Patch #1 has been released, making the following changes:

Craniex:

  • Falling Stars now have arrows indicating where the stars
    will go.

  • Graphing Exercise now has warning arrows to help guide the
    player on where they need to go.

Ms. Mettaton:

  • Minion Rush now has 15 additional frames per cycle to dodge
    the attack.

  • Minion Rush and Minion Ambush Minions fade within 5 frames
    as opposed to 10, to allow players to make judgments easier.

I hope these changes make Undertale Customs easier to play. As always, you can read the included readme file included in the download for the full update changes. Thank you for your continued support and feedback on Undertale Customs, and as always, stay safe in the underground!

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
