I'm back! I always do that, you know, the whole coming back thing, uh... I think there was a quote I could use from a very appropriate context but I forgot what it was.
Well, anyway, before I start giving loads of info, I want to apologize for not giving updates recently, I've honestly been quite busy with work and studies, but development on the game hasn't fully stopped, even though I can't show most of the progress I've made, because spoilers or just because it's technical stuff you most probably won't really care about.
Now, in this second Devlog, I'll be talking about three things:
The Games For Fans 2 event announcement and my participation.
Compile every character I've shown previously.
Give a full progress report.
Now, without much further ado, let's begin!

Games For Fans 2
The Games For Fans 2 event is coming this August! Similar to other Fangame events I've participated in, like the Fazbear Gameverse, it will be presented as a Youtube Premiere where multiple fangames will showcase their trailers.
I will be participating in this edition of the event, so expect a trailer to drop when it releases!

All Characters
On these BIG devlogs I want to share what I've been showing through the other random "mini" devlogs since the previous BIG devlog, so, in this case, the character roster!
Let's begin with...

Fredbear! The star of the show, a magnificent and rotund specimen... He is also looking quite dapper, isn't he? To learn more about him, click >HERE<
Then we have...

Bellabunny! Yes, she's not called Spring Bonnie, she needed a named that matched Fredbear's, and yes, she's a she. I love her I sure hope this bias isn't reflected in the game *sweating profusely*! To learn more about her, click >HERE<
Next...

Him, um, the Rabbit. Uh, yeah, he's here, he is... well, um, tall, for starters... he also looks kind of naked. If you want to learn more about this... thing, click >HERE<
Okay, next...

FREDDY FAZBEAR, WOOO EVERYONE CLAP, IT'S HIM, FEDY! OHHH! And yeah, he looks a bit tattered, a bit dirty and all, but, he's still got it! Either way, if you want more info about him, click >HERE<
And, lastly...

THEM, Metallic Grave! They are definitely the weirdo of this cast, but I still love them and their constantly open mouth. Find out more about them >HERE<
Now, onto the progress. I made a BIIIIG list detailing everything that is completed, in progress or completely missing so you can have an idea of the current state of the game:
Finished:
Main gameplay loop: The classic FNaF gameplay loop is finished, from visuals to audio to... well, everything, really. Still, I could do some changes later down the line, especially when QA testing begins, this includes the difficulty.
Investigation minigame: After every shift, you'll have the chance to investigate the location.
D*?A# minigame: Honestly hope this one works perfectly already because it hurts my head just by looking at the code.
L'(=/S %U/ minigame: Finished, but could still have some bugs.
Investigation board: Similar to the Files menu in True Humanity, but expanded and given a in-universe reason for existing.
GameOver screen: Displays the character that killed you as well as a tip that changes depending on the night (a simple tip reminding the player how the character behaves on the first nights you face the character and a more specific behavior of the character on later nights)
Night presentation and loading: By presentation I mean the screen that says "Night 1", "Night 2", and so on.
Pause menu: You can pause the game! It works much better than it did in True Humanity (in there, you could only pause if certain conditions were met). You have the option to resume, restart, quit and return to the menu.
Tutorial screen: Similar to True Humanity, before each night you'll have multiple screens with written text explaining what you need to do. In comparison to True Humanity, they are written on paper, rather than on a TV screen, which means there are a lot more drawings and arrows and whatnot. They are also pretty silly.
6 AM screen: This is the best thing I've done. Not even joking.
More stuff you shouldn't know or you won't really care about.
In Progress:
Menu: Missing a music track and some sound effects.
*?$A'* minigame: I don't know if I can call this a minigame, but it's missing the audio.
S$A*{¿ Minigame: Missing a big chunk.
Intro: Missing some more animations. It could also be cut down significantly.
Voicelines: Some are done, most are missing.
Missing:
Cutscenes: Pretty simple cutscenes. Won't probably take that long to make... hopefully.
Phone calls: Only two phone calls are in the game, both of them are just plot and character relevant, you get the tutorial on how to play in the actual tutorial screen.
Credits screen: Hardest part is choosing which song from the OST to use, because they all go hard.
Extras screen: With a Character Viewer, Jumpscare Viewer, Behind the Scenes and WIPs.
So, as you can see, development is going quite well, really, I hope to be able to finish the game soon!
So, I think that wraps up this Devlog! Once the second trailer premieres during the Games For Fans 2 live event, I'll upload another Devlog full of meaty details, as I don't want to spoil things that haven't been shown in the first trailer! So please, wait patiently for the event and make sure to follow the game so you don't miss the next devlog!
