To put in more detail, I'm talking about AUs where the main cast of Undertale don't exist(or they do exist, but they're not the same). AUs that takes what made Undertale so amazing, and changes the story up a bit, for better or worse. I'll tell you some of my favorites and maybe recommend you a few stuff I like. My favorite OC is definitely Red from UnREDtale. My favorite AU is Sudden Changes and Sonic Adventure: Grounded. I love custom megalos and other themes. M favorite fangames would have to be Don't Forget and Undertale Yellow. I'm even developing my own fangame called True Geno. I'd highly recommend checking those things out. Now tell me what are some of your favorite things the community has to offer! Something that takes the story, and makes major changes to it.
