DOGS of the DARK v0.1.5.1 Released!


Changes since v0.1.5.0

  • Changed the way text is drawn for scene dialogue and shop dialogue, allowing for some neat text effects in the future.

  • Fixed a bug where equipping the Thunder Gem caused the game to crash. Turns out it was pointing to the wrong gem, since the ACTUAL gem was overwriting an unused gem. Which then was getting overwritten by ANOTHER unused gem. :V

  • I hated the uselessness of TP in Chapter 1, so I deleted it. TP is no longer a mechanic, and some items have been changed to accommodate.

    • Tension Pears have been changed to Power Pears, and will give you an attack buff upon consumption. They still only work in battle though.

    • Tension Gems have been changed to Pathetic Crystals. These have no use. Sell them immediately.

  • Added a "Speedrun Mode". Accessible by skipping to THE DARK using the burrow in the prologue, or skipping the prologue entirely when starting a new game. All this does is let you hold down [C] to skip through dialogue like some other indie RPGs.
