I do occasionally refuse requests, usually due to reasons like 1. not being comfortable drawing it 2. its too difficult 3. im not getting paid for an artwork that took a lot of effort.

The biggest issue i have now is that a lot of people expect me to draw them stuff for free because they know me or smth, and it actually causes a huge issue because i spend my time without compensation. especially considering how little money i have in general, working without getting paid pisses me off a lot.

a lot of people ask me to make thing for them for free that are realy hard to do or take a lot of time and ignore the effort and skill i put into it. and then when i do charge, im begged to drop the prices so low that im underselling myself. it makes me really sad.
