Howdy, folks!
Yep, it's time for the first major patch for v1 already! There haven't actually been many major bugs reported, which is a relief. But you know me by now, there's always a few things that have to be squashed right after launch, so here's the full changelog for v1.1:
- Added the ability to sprint in Free-For-All if your ammo is full.
- Added signs around World 1 in multiplayer to tell the player about stuff they might have missed.
- Changed the STATS screen in Multiplayer to display your LV and XP at all times, plus a kill counter.
- Your namestyle and namecolor are now saved.
- Changed the target-shooting levels in Story Mode to give you two extra bullets, so that missing isn't an instant game over.
- Gave a new animation to a certain boss in Multiplayer.
- Fixed a bug where a secret boss would crash the game.
- Fixed a bug where players would spawn outside of the map.
- Fixed a bug where the game would crash if you entered the online chat right after fighting an enemy.
- Fixed some missing walls in Free-For-All.
- Thanks to Colin, I was able to reduce the game's size from 500,000KB to around 99,000KB! A massive improvement. It turns out most of the music wasn't being compressed so that ended up causing the large file size, so I'm a big poopoo head. This has now been resolved and the game boots up MUCH faster! The music has also now been changed to stereo sound so it sounds a lot better!
- Other minor bugs have also been fixed.
