I hope you've been enjoying the game so far. It's been a VERY busy day for me and the rest of the DF team, but seeing everyone enjoy the game has made it all so worth it. Thank you all so much for being here and playing the game!
I am pleased to say that DF v2.0 didn't have any game-breaking bugs whatsoever, which is a first for this game as long-time fans will know lol! So I'd like to thank the beta-testers, TheLandimizer and Serns, for helping find bugs before launch and getting the game ready for the public.
However, just because nothing is game-breaking doesn't mean that I don't want to still make things better and improve the game, so here's an update that fixes a lot of the minor things I've been seeing, as well as help to make the game more stable overall!
Here's the changelog:
- Updated the GMServer version to hopefully make the game a bit more stable.
- Added a new secret room. I won't say where it is, but I will say that it's a teaser for what's to come to Story Mode in v3.0!
- Added descriptions to all of the trophies you earn in Multiplayer. Hover over them with your mouse on the login menu for a brief description of what they're for!
- Added new poses for Void!Harlow and Mario!Harlow. Annoying Dog has also received a new pose.
- Added a save point in the PvP room so that you don't need to keep running back and forth to the Ruins to heal up.
- Added Deltarune-style backgrounds to all Deltarune characters in PvP.
- Attempted to buff Grass and Water types, and slightly nerfed Fire type for PvP.
- Fixed a bug where a crash would occur when a local chat message was not received correctly.
- Fixed a bug where you could hear the knives being spawned in other PvP battles.
- Fixed a bug where Asriel's vessel menu said he had 0 costumes instead of 1.
- Fixed a bug where the Game Over screen was not visible in FFA.
- Practice Mode is no longer available in FFA for the time being.
- Fixed a bug where a certain fire attack wasn't spawning correctly in PvP.
- Fixed a bug where the soul could go out of bounds during a PvP fight when a desync occured.
- Fixed a bug where you could accidentally spawn in the wrong room. These rooms now lead back to the main hub room.
- Fixed a bug where reading the book in Sans and Pap's house in Offline Mode would crash the game.
- Fixed a bug where you couldn't use the d-pad on a controller correctly in Mandarina's fight.
- Fixed a bug where the game would rarely crash when trying to log in.
- Fixed a bug where it was possible for a wrong damage value to get sent in PvP and inflict too much damage.
- Fixed a bug where you could get stuck in World 3 of Master Quest.
- Fixed a bug where the yellow soul appeared upside-down when it shouldn't be.
