The game is finally in a done but unpolished state. Now it only remains to polish out bugs and make the game pretty. There are also some more under the hood stuff like saving and graphic options but I won't bore you with the details.
What I am trying to say is that the game is almost done! Which should be good news for both of us. I am starting to get very tired of this project and I want to move forward. I thought I would do a quick FAQ:
Does the game feature graphic settings
Answer: Yes it does, you can choose between Low, Medium High, and Ultra. There is also a resolution scale slider for those who need to squeeze out that extra performance.
Is this game optimized and what are the minimum specs?
Answer: I can't say for sure but I tried my best at optimizing the game. I can't guarantee that everyone can run it but I am running a 100 fps on a computer with GTX 1080 TI, Intel I7, and 16 GB RAM.
How long is the game?
Answer: It is rather short, at the moment it clocks in at around 30 minutes and that's for someone familiar with the game. For clarification I am not aiming to make a long game seeing as just these 30 minutes has taken me months.
What do you do in the game?
Answer: I wanted to make a game about someone traversing a forest. But I soon realized my game was just going to blend in with the rest of the indie walking simulators and I needed something to differentiate it from the rest. I decided to add gunplay. So the game is essentially an exploration shooter where you traverse a dangerous forest with a looming threat.
Thank you for reading and I hope you are as excited about the game as I am. Cheers
