Dragon Age: The Veilguard lets players customize the main character of "Rook" including selecting their gender identity! Characters can be cisgender, transgender, or non-binary.


If your Rook is transgender or non-binary, this unlocks dialogue options where they discuss their gender identity.

Rook was nominated for Best LGBTQ+ Character at the 2025 Gaymind Awards and Dragon Age: The Veilguard was nominated for Outstanding Video Game at the 36th Annual GLAAD Media Awards.
