I'm currently playing through the game (about 28% through I think?) And so far it's mostly enjoyable. The stages are all overwhelming for me, they all have quite a bit going on even though the stage level itself is very simple. I noticed that the classic sonic levels are a bit more difficult; you lose the lock-on target for the spindash and the level design is more like a puzzle. I think I like those levels better.

I think the voice acting is super charming and I adore Silver 🥺 But sometimes the humor is pretty off putting, because it feels like they're trying to convince me that there's a big scary war going on but theyre all fine and cracking jokes.

I've played a lot of classic sonic games on my ds (never beaten any though LOL) but never played a 3D sonic game until now.

The gameplay isn't super enrapturing but I'm having a good time. The music is fire. I can't tell you how many times I replayed the first Infinite boss stage XD
