How’s it going everyone! The last devlog that I wrote was before the San Japan convention and it went great! A lot of people had fun on our versus mode and we had great feedback. I’ve currently been working on Jack’s new Leather and Plate armor set animations and they’re coming out really kickass.
For Jack’s leather armor set I really wanted to make sure his movements flowed evenly with his armor and Jack’s Leather set had a lot of parts that I wanted to animate and pay attention to the detail of Jack’s armor. I want to make sure it meets Wenches and Loot standards. No Compromise. This armor set took me awhile but I’m proud of the finished animation set. Now I begin on working on Jack’s Plate armor set.
Now for Jack’s plate set I knew I wouldn’t have as much stuff to animate compared to the leather set since that set had a bit more cloth material to animate. As for this plate set all I really had focus detailed wise was the hair that’s on Jack’s Knight helmet. I wanted to make sure the hair on the helmet flowed naturally throughout the animation.
There will be a new armor set that I’ll be working on for Alamo City Comic Con and I’m extremely excited to work on that and show everyone a new kickass armor set. Stay tune for more updates coming soon. Until then, take care everyone.
