Drop Bot demo version

I’ve decided to release a demo of the 0.2.4 alpha version of Drop Bot, consisting of two of the missions found in the game’s Mission Mode.

The first mission has you dodging cats that fall from above, then catching them with balloons before they fall off the bottom of the screen. If you manage to save ten cats, you’ll clear the mission; if you allow three to fall, you fail. Complicating matters are strong winds blowing in from the sides, making it a struggle to maintain your position.

In the second mission, you’re being drawn upward by a powerful magnet, with more magnets rushing up at you from below. Robots being made of metal and all, these magnets will be drawn toward you, and will immediately fry your circuits on contact. To clear the mission, you must travel two thousand meters.

For an added challenge in either mission, you can use the X key to equip the sunglasses, which will render the arrows warning you of the locations of cats and magnets invisible.

If you’re interested in this game, it’s currently funding on Kickstarter for an iPhone/iOS release.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
