The drop system has become a lot more dynamic. Each enemy has different chances of dropping items.
Also, other weapons overshadowed the pistol a bit too much. It is meant to be an emergency or starter weapon, but you could burn through the considerable ammo supply and do very little damage to the enemies.
The game window can now be resized by clicking and dragging the edges.
Finally, the mouse can be used in the options menu.
