Miscellanious/QoL:
- Main menu starting animations can now be skipped by spamming [Z]
- Controls can now be viewed in main menu
- Added a cool epic promo banner for DTGE in main menu. It can lead you to the GameJolt page
- Instant game over button is now [R] instead of [K]
- Game over animations for phases 1-3 are now quicker and the dialogue can be skipped by pressing [Z] or [X]
- Trying to open item menu when out of items now has sound and visual effects
- Trying to spare Sans now has sound and visual effects
Bug fixes:
- Music shouldn't bug out during frame transitions anymore
- Phase 2 spinning bones attack no longer hits you when it shouldn't
- Sans' eye flash particle in phase 2 now despawns properly
- Sans' head no longer dislocates during animation changes (yeah again lol)
- Fixed a certain dialogue bug after phase 3.5
- Cursor in phase 4 should now be centered properly at the start of attack sequences
- Optimised some of phase 4 attacks and visual effects. This should improve overall performance and fix memory overload game crashes during looped attacks
Visual changes:
- New DTLG Team logo and animation
- Minor changes in main menu, credits and post-credits sequence
- HP bar cut corners are now symmetrical. Yes, they weren't until now. Yes, I hate it too
- "1 HIT MODE" is now called "NO HIT MODE", as it should be
- Battle box (and textboxes) corners are no longer weirdly stylized
- Updated gaster blasters' laser textures. Lookin cool now
- Sligtly changed the bomb attack warnings is phase 3- bro who the HELL is gonna read allat.... noone cares about those 2 and a half pixels anywayy
Whew! And that's it! There is probably some other stuff that i forgor about.. but oh well
This update might not bring any drastic changes, but i decided to make it anyway. Just so that DTLG is a bit more on par with DTGE in terms of QoL and is more enjoyable overall. There might be more updates like this in the future, so yeah. Let me know what you think!
EDIT: fixed a little issue that sometimes made the new team logo animation slightly bug out. If that matters to you, redownload the game lol
EDIT 2: uhhh sorry, another fix. Now shattering smaller "bone throw" attacks with a dash in phase 4 doesn't break them into larger pieces, but in properly sized ones. Btw did you know you could do that?
