This devlog will explain how these 3 things are a big influence on ToriTori high, with each one being a huge no-brainer on not only the art style and features(Persona)the story(Durarara) and the massive city you can explore(Bethesda studios) you pretty much get where im going with this. This isn’t a progress report, or a thing where i explain a feature, this is a story on how those 3 things (technically 5 but the 4th isn’t that big of an influence and neither is the 5th but i’ll get to that later) where a big thing in the creation of the game.

1. Durarara: Durarara is a huge part of the story, becuase there are Yakuza’s, color gangs, and a rival to beat the snot out of you the moment you step out of line. There is also a side quest where you find a dulahun(That is what Celty is) that is a side boss. her name is Selty (original i know). And the town you’re in is Ikebukoro! what else do i have to say.

2.Persona series: Persona has an obivouse influence on ToriTori high, not only the art style(which has yet to be shown) but some of the features in the game like personas. and a few i havent talked about yet.

1. Bethesda games: Bethesda games such as Fallout, Elder scrolls, Prey, Doom, and SkyNET are all open world kind of games.(prey and SkyNET not so much) but most of there games are open world so thats there part. No but the reason Bethesda games are a influnce is becuase the game is an open world rpg school simulator. bethesda games are commonly open world rpgs. soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
   thats bethesda’s part.

now, the other 2 influnces are very small but if you where on the dev team these are bigger than any of the things i just named of. Yandere simulator, and a game Yanderedev played a while ago, Nasokari high school. Why didnt i name these off? well, becuase they have features that i im using that i havent announced. I will only give a hint for each game. Hint for Yandere simulator: Students wrote on kokana’s desk and she did this. Nasokari high school hint: The main character can do this.
