DEVLOG 1

Hello everyone! This is the first proper Devlog for my DUSTBELIEF fangame!

I did take a few days off from working on the game in order to work on something else cool which you can see here! (https://streamable.com/3ozbei)

I have created 2 more attacks and have added some more stuff to existing attacks!

Dialogue stuff

I have been writing lots of dialogue as of recently and have been making sure it’s the best I can make it! I’ve also been trying the capture the feel of the original Undertale dialogue but also put my own spin on it!

State of the Game

Currently, a little over a third of phase 1’s attacks are finished. There will be about 15-20 attacks in phase 1 and probably about the same for phase 2. As for the dialogue I have mostly been brainstorming and writing down dialogue in a google doc before putting anything into the game so there is still a LOT of placeholder text.

But I have some great news! I have released a build of the game to a few friends of mine in order for them to play test everything. Once the game is farther along I may ask for playtesters but at the moment I don’t need anymore.

Conclusion

That’s all for this devlog! I really want to show more buuuut I also don’t want to spoil too much. I’ll post Devlog 2 next week!
