Hey there Dusttalers!

ElMaster(and Quin) here!

It’s been a long time since we’ve done one of these…
So I would like to start by saying that we’re going to try to go for a big Devlog once every two months or so, just to show we're not dead or anything like that.

But with that out of the way, let's get right to it!

Friendliness Pellets

As you all know, Friendliness Pellets is the song name of the Flowey Fight at the beginning of the game.

We've been hard at work on it, and managed to get quite far.

No spoilers on attacks (yet), but the battle is well over 50% Done! So, you might even get something sooner or later.

Allow me to show you not two, but THREE ways that this can go:

You can Fight your way out:

Or you can even try to struggle and break free of Flowey's Grip!

That's all for here, now let's go beyond Flowey and take a look at the rest of the Ruins…

We haven’t started much on the OW yet, since we’re still testing some stuff, but don’t worry, we’ll do that eventually!

That running animation was done by no other than @_Interstellar_ !

Which brings us to the next point...

In the sprites department, we’ve been cooking a lot, we added a lot of new sprites for Frisk, as well as having the whole spritesheet for Flowey almost finished!

Having said that though, we’re going to remake some of the sprites of the game to make them similar in art-style to the rest of them.
These changes include: The Ruins’ monsters and Sans for now, but we might remake some more aswell.

The Ruins have been recently hurt by Flowey's plans and it can be seen evidently soon. No Major OW progress yet, but when we get to it we'll gladly show you all it!

However, I can gladly say that we have been working on writing, and no longer have placeholder dialogue for the Ruins!

All of the writing was custom-made by @Quinboy7
(He speedrunned all of the writing, thanks to him we already have a lot of progress writing-wise)

In fact, The Ruins have been fully written out!

Yep, you heard that right!
This means that all dialogues for the rooms enemies AND bosses of The Ruins are 100% done!
So when we get to the Overworld and beyond Flowey, things will go that much faster!

There’s still a few tracks left to do for the Ruins, but we’re coming close to end the music necessary for The Ruins!
