Dusttale Renewed: A retrospective.


The game was a dumb idea, I'm sure a baby with no brain stem could see that, but eh, people cancel games all the time and I wanted to finally give something that wasn't just disappointment, but DTR wasn't it. I tried writing for a bit and I'm doing okay so far, but I probably should have thought more about making a game about a story that was dead in the water. Plus, the story wasn't as good as I thought, as it started out good, but turned into the original with extra steps. The project was doomed from the start. Even if I got a team built up, but still, fangames especially in this community have a reputation of just shitting out a demo and fading from existence, but I will say, this is a reason among others, such as constant drama, that I'm leaving the community, and so far, I feel much more free. Thank you for reading this.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
