E as in Escape

So after I escaped the blazing inferno that was the Graphical Resource phase, I progressed into the Polishing stage. There isn’t much to say about this stage since it’s essentially just polishing all the work I did before.
I can say that things look much better now that much of the contents have been updated and upgraded with better quality materials rather the placeholder ones, they acquired in the first stage.

Regardless, there is still some more work to do. As of I right now I’ve completed 11 of the 12 locations that I listed for polishing. The last one is probably going to be the most difficult to get right since it requires work with volumetric lighting and some outside elements mixed in. It will certainly be more of a challenge than the previous 11 locations, but I’ll figure out how to achieve it in due time.

Also I am working in Blender 2.79, Blender 2.8 was released in Beta, and when it did I had investigated whether or not it was good to use as of this moment.

However, due to the change in rendering engine, I decided not to use it for this project, as I would have to go back throughout the game and re-assign and re-work all the materials. It would be a very tedious and lengthy process. That is why I decided not to use it for now.

Anyway, once the snow falls on the ground, I can rest assured that I am on the right track.

Lest I have to go back and change all my materials due to Eevee.

Today I was setting up the location of the first boss. His name is "Father" and he is the first of the Patagonians. His task is to guard the road to the House.🛡🗡 Bookmark pre-launch page🔖🔖🔖

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
