E.R. Q&A #01

Q1: What platforms will this game be available on?

A1: The primary focus right now is a PC release. Mac OS and Linux may or may not come at a later time.

Q2: How long will each story take overall?

A2: I’m not even remotely sure yet to be honest with you. I’d like to have several hours of gameplay available for both paths, but that’ll be determined as development progresses.

Q3: Will the game be released on Steam?

A3: Probably not. Reason being because I don’t even know if this game will be up to par with some of the other indie games on that platform.

I really don’t know. At the least, I can say I’ll release a playable demo here on GameJolt. As for the final release, yeah I got nothin’.

Q4: How will this differ from other RPG games?

A4: That’s a great question. I’m glad I thought of it. As for the gameplay, (i.e. exploring the world), it’ll be about the same as your typical RPG… maybe.

The combat system is going to be a big focus for the game. I have some really cool ideas in mind, but I I don’t want to share any details yet until I have a working build of it that I can showcase.

Q5: When can we expect the game to be released?

A5: In the words of Gearbox, “When it’s done.”

Hopefully this clears up any basic questions you might’ve had!

Feb. 2nd, 2019: - Messed around with some tile art I drew up real quick and managed to get the player walking animations to work somewhat-properly. Video of the latter coming soon, preferably with a better environment to showcase.

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

Runestones: from concept to in-game model🗿

"Our work is never over" they said.

a drawing I did because I was bored😪. But I love how it turned out.😊

I worked so hard to get all four of them to the end safely, but then...

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

Ladies & gentlemen.. The Blender logo factory! I had a ton of un making this animation. I'll be making a short tutorial on picking up/dropping object in Blender for animations next week! What do you think?

I thought I would do a quick show and tell, with a 2 min video of the start of the game and some of the game elements, after many many months it is really starting to come together, time to start networking https://gamejolt.com/games/Dungeon_fable/490669

Art made for my friend @ungerbibs . Much love for this <3
