Version 1.2.7 is now available to play.
As always, new content was added and much of the existing stuff was polished in some way.
Note that this version may take significantly longer to load for the first time.
Here's what I've been doing:
Made stamina regeneration a little bit faster
Tweaked player's speed (again), fall speed is even slower and movement speed feels more consistent overall
Made player movement smoother, there's now a short acceleration/deceleration time for most motion. This makes certain maneuvers slower and enemy speed was tweaked to account for that
Made jumping height lower, some levels were adjusted (old skips are still possible)
Changed the way music is loaded. No more awkward silence ever again
Updated the spider boss visuals and changed the mechanics a little bit
Reworked ghosts boss arena
Made player's attack hitbox reach a bit further and stay a while longer
Fixed visual glitches when landing on certain platforms (this time for good I hope)
Fixed some platforms moving upwards by one pixel when landing on them (if anyone noticed sorry)
Pushing statues near half-sized tiles no longer causes the universe to collapsefixed a severe collision glitchAttempting to dash while pushing a statue no longer stops player movement
Erasing the save file moves menu cursor to the "start" option to save you a few milliseconds
Fixed inconsistent jump height on ledges
Tweaked some enemy collision boxes
Made it extra harder to jump over the shield guys. Please don't do it
Reworked the lance-wielding enemies behavior and animations
Changed the order of some levels, a certain level that was previously unreachable can now be accessed
