Hello everyone. Wanted to thank you all for helping us with such a great launch. Today the second build has gone live!
The major changes come to the levels in sectors 1 and 2. Several of them have been re-decorated. There have also been new secrets! Previously some of the levels had EXCELLENT TIMEs that were too easy or impossible to beat. Now the first 2 sectors have times that are all beatable (and challenging!), so don’t be afraid to 100% those first two sectors now! There have also been tons of bug fixes which will be listed in detail below in the change log.

Levels:
1-3p3’s checkpoint no longer causes the zombie to respawn next to a guard, leading to the zombie’s death and a continuous retry spiral
1-4 has secret guard
More secrets in 1-1, 1-2
1-4 p4 less tight ground switch
Decoration overhaul in 1-4, 2-3, 2-4, 2-5
Beatable times in 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, 1-5, 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 2-4, 2-5, 3-1, 3-2
More secret guards in the first 2 sectors
Gameplay:
Ghost Anomalies (3-4) are linear now, don’t accumulate speed. This makes them much easier. Ghost Huntress sucking
is still the same
Haunted divepanel/groundswitch in 3-2p4 no longer falls through the ground
2-4’s pipe in p3 no longer can be phased through the door
Beating a level in exactly the time needed for EXCELLENT TIME now fullfills the EXCELLENT TIME requirement
Zombie can no longer interact with Robot gibs
Scientists walking into Fog of War no longer pop out of existence
Turret bullets have a lifetime now so won’t stay alive for ever (and possibly slow down the game)
Killer doors in level 1-1 are more forgiving
Tutorials:
Controller no longer says “Use Shoulder Button” on start of 1-4 if you were previously using keyboard
“Space” instead of “Shift” in haunted object/possession tutorials
Menus:
Challenge Select appears before Retry upon completing a challenge
User no longer can move the menu and subsequently double load something after choosing Exit Level or Retry Level
Rendering:
Robot’s shadow no longer appears on robot
3-1’s doors show green activation textures when activated
3-2’s Cafe doors show green activation textures when activated
Bug fix for letter spacing (wasn’t loading it properly)
Camera zones are now always match a 16:9 width (will zoom out/in to accommodate that width)
Mouse cursor only appears when in use during game, or during menus
Fog of war fixes on MANY doors
Sound/Music:
New death sounds for scientist and guards
Language:
Language can be modified externally (go to installation folder/Over My Dead Body (For You) _Data/StreamingAssets/language/ In that folder you’ll find en which represents English. Use the first two letters of your System’s language to change to a different folder’s language (ie create a fr folder for French, ru for Russian, etc). Must change the desc.txt in new languages to have the language code (ie change en,English to fr,French to add French. Word after comma will eventually be the display name in the game)
Added cheat to change languages at runtime (type in .lang:en. to change to English, replace en with other languages)
