Early Access Version 2 Available now!


Version 2 includes a lot of changes from the previous version:

  • 30 new rooms

  • A few modified old rooms

  • New [unfinished] Emerald Mines tileset

  • New Emerald Mines music

  • New music for secret area

  • 2 new [placeholder art] enemies

  • Skull-bowling power-up aquireable

If you already bought the Early Access, you should be able to download this for free. If not, you can purchase it now and get the latest version [and all future versions]

You may also notice a weird ugly star teleport. There will eventually be a boss fight in that room and you’ll teleport after fighting it. We’ll hopefully get to start working on that boss soon!

Menu system of the future! #Nojong

I'm currently making a Tetris + Mahjong hybrid game called #Nojong. Match colored blocks in the field to make clears. After a number of clears, the blocks left in your hand are scored, so you want to try and keep triples and quadruples in your hand.

Nojong, an arcade mashup of Tetris and Mahjong is out now!

I'm developing a new commercial game with a small team! A demo will be coming to steam soon, but you can wishlist it in the meantime if you're into deckbuilding / autobattlers / roguelikes!

For some reason, it's really hard to change the alpha value of a tile layer in GameMaker. You can do this easily for sprite or instance layers, but not tile layers. So here's a video on how to easily update the alpha value of tile layers in real time.
