Early devlog stuff lmao

First Devlog, I Guess (4/19/25)

So far, I’ve only barely started on concept art, which makes sense considering I published the page for Fox Fighters a day or two ago.

As of writing this devlog, I’m happy to say that I’ve gotten all the spells I could think of that I would want. 65 spells, to be exact!

I’ll post some screenshots of my notes app when I get the chance. Be warned, there’s a bunch of fox puns!

I’ve also put 103 trophies for achievements. I might add more, I might not add more. It all depends, honestly. The way it works is simple:

Bronze trophies will be for easy/main story trophies.

Silver trophies will be for more advanced stuff, such as clearing dungeons and other attractions.

Gold trophies will be for more of a challenge. For those who want a challenge!

Finally, platinum trophies will be time consuming enough. Really time consuming. Only for completionists, but I may nerf one set of achievements due to it really taking a LONG time to unlock.

That’s all I can think of. I’ll make updates and whatnot whenever I can.

Stay funky.

Here are some more spells I might add. Should I add them? Should I remove some? I’m open to ideas.

PREPARE THYSELF

:3

No idea if I shared these already here, but I made some concept poses.

Little mockup of a character select screen. Gonna be honest, I feel like I will completely change this to be very different. How does this look for a mockup?

Due to the poll, Time To Hibernate will be nerfed from 1,000 usages of inns to 500. V.I.P In The Inn will also be nerfed from 500 usages of inns to 250. The two other inn related achievements will stay the same.

(Edit: blurred the trophy IDs)

Flavor text! Here’s a bunch of it.

Also, at this point, I am ALMOST done with my armor spreadsheet. Just need to tweak a few things, make the pricing for them, location and equippable classes.

This is gonna be fun. I get to name all the weapons, put the costs for them (if I choose they have one), descriptors, and what they add to stats. Or subtract.

Not dead, just making some tracks and writing lore! Here’s the track, in case you were wondering. It’s a game over song. The song is in the key of Em (aka E minor).

In light of my birthday today, I decided to start composing a track! How does it sound? Does it sound like a battle theme? Should I change anything? Let me know!

Sneak peak of a bit of music! It’s not perfect but I hope to make it perfect.

If it sounds like another song, that’s because I looked at the Eyes of Flame MIDI and got inspiration from it.
