Ease 1 Art Polish

Ease 1 is done. As I don't think Ease 3 will take as long as Ease 1 did (after all there's only like 12 levels in Ease 3 and I don't need to add more to make the game longer, I just need to expand the levels LOL). Ease 1 is now in the polishing stages, which means I stopped using paint for the art. Hopefully I can polish the music and bosses too but who knows. I developed this art style while making test RPGs and a zombie shooter. Its very cartoonish in my opinion but it definitely fits the Ease vibe. I used GraphicsGale instead of paint to make these.

Of course, this is not the final product and the art is likely to change, but this is definitely a step in the right direction. As for the music, lets hope I can get my act together.

July Devlog (Part 2)

Its been so long since I have shown actual gameplay footage or screenshots, so heres a "round" of the new Ease 2 prototype. The game has been redesigned to be more arcade-like, with enemies getting faster/firing projectiles faster every round.

Winston the Lizard concept (Yes, that's his name). This one is definitely going to be tweaked, I know it can be improved.

Here is a proper sneak peak of the Swamp level from Ease 1, this level is one of my personal favorites.

Huggy: Ultimate Edition, a collab game between @MasterGames31 and me, is finished! This game takes place during the Ease comics and contains remakes of Huggy 1-2 using the Huggy 3 engine, Huggy 3, and three bonus level packs made with the Huggy 3 engine.

Since the Ease Collection DEMO is releasing on December 25th, I want to show off how much the grasslands level in Ease Collection actually improved over lifeless (beyond cursed) void of last year's grassland.

Current title screen (Settings box is a placeholder). More gameplay screenshots coming soon.

Ok, i'll start an Ease Game Jam. Its going to be running on Itch.io for a week. Unfortunately I don't know how to run it on Gamejolt, i tried. https://itch.io/jam/the-ease-collection-jam. Winning game goes in the collection.
