Efficiency, efficiency, efficiency


…and more visual content! I tweaked the transportation-priorities slightly to also factor in the actual distance the employee has to walk and now everything is much more efficient and quicker! Watch those happy fellas buildin’ those tasty burgers:

And of course I finally made the resources look like something. Its not great art but its good enough to tell the different resources apart.
And I also tought those lazy dudes to not walk through walls and use the actual floor and although it was the most complex and nerve-wrecking task to deal with its the most boring one.

Next up

Optimization Time to stress out those systems to see, if something breaks :D I’m currently optimizing the pathfinding and input/output mapping methods to make sure everything runs smooth on lower-end systems.

The Demo

Suggestions? Now that the demo is out, please give it a try and tell me what you like and dislike. Although the game is still at a very early stage it would be awesome to see what I need to focus on the most. Tell me in the comments below!
