After Jack's parents ask him to bring some fruits, he accidentally stumbles into a garbage dump, finding a mysterious greenish bear, which was Alex, and after the two talk for a while, Jack decides to tell his parents to see what to do with alex (since he was an orphan) so they decide to adopt him
