Emma is a new 2D game being developed by a indie developer, me.
I had different ideas for Emma, I wanted it to be a 2D platformer at first, but in the end, after thinking a lot about this, I decided to not complicate the simple things.
Emma will be a non-linear interactive story game built in the Twine engine. It will be playable through any web browsers like Chrome, Firefox, etc.
It will feature stuff that most of other interactive stories do not, such as the possibility of having different beginnings, wider choices to make, the possibility of ending the game quicker depending on what choices the player makes, ambient sounds, realistic art, and much more.
I plan to fully release Emma in January of 2017, but what do I mean by saying this?
I mean that I’ll be releasing beta versions of the game for now but the final release will only be released in January of next year.
But why only in 2017 you ask?
Well, I could release it a lot earlier to be honest with you, but I want to make art for it and it might take a while to do so, and I’m also not really an expert when it comes to programming or using the Twine engine.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
