Iragashi’s whole vibe is just a fellow wizard apprentice that bumps into Liz on her errands for her Mentor Wynslow Galfardos.
Him being the more experienced one tries to reprimand and confiscate a tome Liz was studying from on her train trip. Completely unaware she’s also an apprentice, Liz not above asserting herself with other cocky apprentices.
His mentor instructing him to find another mentor to learn from to diversify his skills. Ironically Wynslow taking Igarashi under his wing to the displeasure of Liz.
Liz mostly being polite and cordial to him until he starts to encroach on her personal space.
