Just wanted to let you know that I’m currently working on improving the game a bit for the next version. The purpose of the 0.1 version was to get it “out there”, get some plays, some feedback and get the overall feeling of the mechanics.
For the next version, I’m working on making the gameplay a bit more refined. The game is lacking a sudden death mechanic, so it’s time to add it. Also, I’ve implemented a feature for submitting feedback in-game, which will make it easier to let me know what you think about the game.
The push powerup looks like it could need a boost, so I’m balancing some numbers around, and also working a bit on making the powerup a bit easier. The grapplehook could hit the powerup, which pushed it and the grapple got stuck. This is changed, so you pickup the powerup instead. Also, I’m considering adding charges to the powerup system, so you wont have to get another one as soon as you used the current one.
I will also make a few changes to the art, probably the level, and some more tweaks regarding the looks.
For this version however, I will not add any big new features, so there won’t be any new powerups I’m afraid.
