Hey everyone, it's Ethan with the ZF Productions team.

The small crew of people working on these projects want to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of y'all, and we wanted to give some info on upcoming projects.

To get us started, we've got a few new games to give some info on, so why don't we get started?

In our post announcing the Hiatus of Zane's Italian Dining (ZID) and addressing our (or rather, my) response to the FNaF Plus cancellation, we had announced a new game called "Welcome to Blu's!" meant to be a FNaF fan-game hosting some custom animatronic designs and new lore, and not using (at least completely) reused assets, rather opting for making completely new assets. While we do wish that we could say we made a lot of progress, that's sadly far from the truth. We want to take our time with these projects so that, when they do release, they don't get released as a buggy, unpolished, unfinished mess. We want the game to be good before we release it to the public.

So, yeah, unfortunately, not much progress has been made. We do have an overall building layout in mind, but it is subject to change at any point.

While we don't have a game page or, practically, any of the work done yet, we have gotten a couple of Concept art sketches done for some of the characters that will appear in the game, so we figured we'd just show off the first draft concept arts for two of our characters:

To get us started, let's look at the Blu the Wolf concept art!

This is by far the more complete of the two pieces of concept art. The design is being based slightly on the Withered Foxy design, but we do aim to change a few things to make it stand out a little bit. As you can tell, information of the character such as Gender, Cloros, Etc. is available here. This will then be used as a reference to model the final design of the animatronic.

Next is Oswald the Polar Bear

Oswald was originally a character used at an old restaurant from the same company as Bluls that was opened about 14 years prior. Oswald was a hit with families, but after several breakdowns it was discovered just how damaged time had left the animatronic in, and so, it was thrown into the parts and services room, where he would, over time, be broken apart. Again, some info can be seen on the actual artwork for the design, such as the right leg having the front of it's casing missing, which is based on some of the withered designs in FNaC 2.

We've gotten some new ideas going for FNAS:D. One of these includes a new name for the project, being "Steve's Diner: Nightshift." It also helps a lot in terms of the characters we're going to be using now that Mojang has shared some new characters in Minecraft now, such as Efe, Sunny, Kai, etc.

This of course means redesigning a bunch of things, rewriting the Phone Call scripts, and more, but overall, we thing it is the best way to go. Especially regarding the decision to remove Notch from the game due to his inappropriate tweets he posted not too long after his departure from Mojang in 2014.

That's all we're going to talk about for right now.

We have also decided to work on a new game, being an RPG. We're not 100% sure on a lot of things, as we only recently had the idea, but we have some cool ideas!

The current game plan is to (possibly) release a demo sometime in the far futuire here on Gamejolt and then, possibly, we're going to release the full game on Steam. Still need to decide on this, however.

This one is a very big project and so we are not able to share much information for you guys. What we will say is that the game will feature some (slightly) different elements to the game based on the Gender Identity of the character you choose to play with.

We've shared a pretty decent amount of FNF mods in the past, so we decided to just give status updates on all of them here:

FNF Vs. Foxy:

Status: Cancelled

Vs Foxy was a project that we lost motivation on pretty quickly. It still is going to be available, but as for updates to it, the chances are really slim. Just go play Vs. FNaF 2 or something, I don't know.

FNF Vs Dark:
Latest Version: V. 4.3.0
Status: Cancelled

This one we've already discussed the cancelation of in detail, so we won't delve into it here.

FNF Vs. Dark: Revisited
Latest Version: Alpha 1
Status: Cancelled... kinda...

Vs Dark Revisited just got kinda boring to work on and the director no longer utelizes the Dark the Hedgehog alias and now just goes for ZF, ZaneFlynt, or ZF01, and so we decided we would cancel the original go, and just continue it with a new name and new character instead.

FNF Long Passed Expiration:

Status: Completed

We don't intend to make any more major updates to the LPE mod. We've already kinda done everything we wanted with it, so it doesn't really seem necessary to continue it.

Hello Neighbor: Funk & Seek

Status: Hiatus

This one just kinda started getting boring to work on for the time being, so we decided to just postpone it's development and keep it like that until we pick up the motivation to work on it again. Plus, we need help from other people to work on it. We do have one more mod in the works though as well... Are you ready, get set, and....

FRIDAY NIGHT FUNKIN': REKINDLED REMIXES!!!

FNF:RR is going to be a remix/redesign mod for the game with COMPLETELY new versions of the characterS!

We'll be waiting to share information on this project until 2024 begins. In the mean time, here's a sneak peak of the Pixel Art version (being used as a concept) for Boyfriend's Rekindled Remixes variant, named Matthew:

Bio:
Boyfriend from within the Friday Night Funkin': Rekindled Remixes universe. He was born into a rather broken family, as his father was a very severe alcoholic, eventually leading to him becoming abusive and eventually dying from alcohol poisoning. This led to his mother having to get a job herself, leading to him being alone most of the time. After he turned 21 years old,, he decided to go ahead and just roam to find a new life for himself. That's when he met Jessica (Girlfriend) during auditions for a singing contest held by her father. He immediately fell in love. Jessica, wanting to escape her father, hooked up with him, initially just manipulating him to get her way, but after she had noticed his dedication to her, this didn't last. She actually wants to be in a relationship with Matthew, and Matthew does whatever he can to make her happy, all while trying to advance his singing career.

Before you ask, NO, Matthew and Miku are NOT related in this mod. Miku is still just like her usual self in the Vocaloid Miku games.
