Hello all! Today is a great day with amazing news.
A step forward to 3D
I've been learning Unreal Engine during the last months, making many tests, game prototypes and content. This is the new game engine I will use from now on and it's Epic!
Why Unreal Engine
I did a research about which would be the new game engine I would use for next projects. It's time for me to evolve in game development, discover new content creation opportunities and taking advance of the new technologies to offer the best future experiences.
Unreal Engine was the chosen one due its powerful render engine, tools, node system, license and sofware development overall. This learning experience will allow me to take my content to a new whole level. I'm very happy with what I got so far and I'm so excited by working on this top quality software.
Endless Inside sequel
I'm moving this game from Clickteam to Unreal Engine. This is a big step which will implement innumerable improvements, including free-roaming around 3D environments, new exploration systems, new survival modes and many other content which will increase the final quality by a lot.
This project is under long term development, this means the game will not be finished "soon". I'm just one person working on this right now, so I ask you for patience.
This update will change the release platforms / sites for the game, I will tell you more about this when time comes. I've also updated the official FAQ post and the official website.
Unreal Engine 5
I'm learning Unreal Engine 5 as well, including Nanite and Lumen technologies, new tools and features to keep an updated learning process that allows me to create games for the upcoming generations.
This is all for now, I hope you're as much excited as I am! See you soon!
