(ENG) TUTORIAL

1.MOVING ON THE MAP
Use the arrow keys to move around on the map. Touching certain objects will start some events. You need to touch the object and press space to interact with most objects.
Using campfires allows you to save the game.

2.BATTLE
Fight is turn-based in this game. Hero with highest speed, always attacks first. You can choose the following options:

  • Attack

  • Skills (in that case, Spirits)

  • Guard (ignoring the current turn for higher defence)

  • Items (use the items in your equipement)
To win the battle, all enemies must fall and at least 1 of your heroes must stay alive.
You need mana to use Spirits. Each hero has their own kit of Spirits and the kit of Overall Spirits. There’s also a TP mechanics. Remember, that your enemies can also use skills.
There are things called effects. These are special states which somehow affect heroes or enemies, for example, blindness makes the hit chance lower.
You can use Character and Formation options to change fighting characters. It helps when you need to replace dead ally with alive one.

3.EQUIPEMENT, STATS ECT.
Equipement allows you to change items used by your fighters. Some of them are already available, others must be found on the map or bought in the shops for gold (you can win gold in battles or find them on the map).
Stats tells you your hero’s weak and strong spots. These are:

  • Attack

  • Defence

  • Magic

  • Speed

  • Magical defence

  • Luck
Each hero earns experience. Enough experience will promote hero to the next level, which makes them stronger and might even learn them a new Spirit.
Formation allows you to change your party members, which will appear in battles.
Item section allows you, for example, use HP potion on damaged hero or look at the important items.
Skill section allows you to use Spirits that can be used outside the battle. These are mostly healing moves.

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.

I mostly build 3D First Person Shooter game mechanics in Unity, and in this I'm just showing C4 mechanics I made for a little side project I am working on! :)
