Its really hard to explain, but I think it has to do with just how... mysterious and weird BB is in the fnaf lore. Lore-wise he doesn’t seem to have much going on with him, It’s strange how a character THIS unique wouldn’t have anything else important to him lore wise, which is what I feel like, is a wasted potential with a character as unique as BB, hell fucking Mr. Hippo, has more lore relevance then BB!

Even looking at him next to the cast, BB feels like an outlier with the rest of the fazbear band, but yet he also somewhat fits in. One example can be the fnaf 3 minigame BB's Balloon Adventure, its so strange how BB has a whole minigame in fnaf 3, where he is kinda important now in the lore, and then he just, doesn't do anything except in security breach which...... its security breach thats a whole can of worms.

Now when it comes to why I like him and why I personify him as a happy and cheerful kid, whos curious about everything and who wants to make you smile?

..... Because I feel like thats what he was made to do, and honestly, I see MYSELF as the character at times. In the community its just the usual trope of making the joke where everyone wants to mentality and physically torture a literal child for no reason rather than a little annoying habit they might have which in the case of BB, which tbh, I never liked the hate he got when there are WORSE characters out there. And also some people go WAAAAY too far when it comes to how they treat him, to the point where it gets, really uncomfortable and almost illegal. (Btw I still fucking hate that fnaf 2 movie scene, when i first saw that scene i laughed but i then was SUPER dissapointed, like, come OOOOON Scott.)

Growing up I was always bullied and tossed around for liking the character to where I could never fit in, it even got to the point where (I am not joking it still happens in games), I am told to KMS just because I like the character, making me feel like an outsider. Which is a reason why i see myself as him at times, we are BOTH outsiders, I relate with him.

As for design and characterization?

Like I said, hes really unique in design, and I love his colors, and his little friend-shaped look. Hes just an adorable little robot, who can be a little rascal at times, and that makes me smile. I love it when people who ACTUALLY like the character, make him feel like a character, they make him part of the band, he is possessed by a child, he is actually a kid who has a mind that is growing, etc.

And that my friends, was my rambling of why I personally, love BB as a character, concept, and just... as a whole. Once again sorry if I "milk" the character cause I talk about or post him a lot, but hes just, someone who personally makes me happy, and theres nothing wrong with being happy being a fan of a video game character, right?
