Apparently, recently, a depressed teenager posted a selfie of herself. Not long after, she deleted it. The system estimated why she did this, and the results are that she finds herself ugly. So, quickly after, she got spammed with ads that promoted accessories, clothing, etc.
Would clippy do this?
No. Clippy doesn't give you recommendations based on every thing you do. Clippy wanted to help, but not by begging you to waste money. By helping, he meant making your day better when you're bored or sad, not forcing you to buy faulty products.
Clippy represents the new silent protest, suggesting modern companies to stop spying on us, to go back to the good old days where the internet isn't AI. We're going back to programming boundaries, reject AI. AI is dangerous. For everyone. You, me, your friends, my friends, our families... Everyone.
It's also dangerous towards nature. It takes an entire forest every prompt you do in ChatGPT and all other AIs. While creeps ask PolyBuzz to send nude images, ecosystems are dying. Nature is beautiful, and we can still help. It's not too late. Clippy will save us. Set your profile picture to clippy and join the protest.
Take care and stay safe.
Note: I am sending this to as much realms and communities as possible regardless of if it's related to the topic or not, to spread awareness more quickly.
