Welp. You’ve done it.

The Chapter had just been released, and you’ve already gotten to the end. “That must’ve been a record of something”, you think to yourself. You didn’t think it’d be so… short. Though something you don’t really know is it took you more than 4 hours, yet you were having so much fun, you didn’t even notice it.

You cannot avoid but remember how… unorthodox the announcement had been. It was after a… stream? You can’t quite recall, but you’re sure it was after the stream ended and the screed had cut to black. And when the words “Continue to Chapter 2” appeared on the feed, you immediately said… no, you screamed “He’s done it again. I cannot believe it, that madlad Toby’s done it one more damn time!”. And when, at the end, it said it’d release just a few days after, you screamed even more. You remember you stood in front of your computer for the previous two hours before launch.

Then you downloaded it, you played it. And you loved every single second of it. Of course, just as you predicted, the main antagonist was a “Queen” character. Everyone said it was a crackpot theory, but you’re the one laughing now. You didn’t expect for Noelle to be there, let’s not even talk about her being part of your party. And even though you kinda saw it coming, you audibly groaned when you say Berdly appear in that rollercoaster, though in the end you really loved his character arc. You most certainly didn’t expect that Punch-Out style mini-game to return as an epic final battle, and that Roaring stuff Ralsei talked about afterwards… in your opinion, that along with him being in Cyber World makes him even more suspicious to you.

The weirdest part of the Chapter was, by far, that strange salesman you met. You think he was called… Scamton? No, it was definitely Spamton. Somehow, it gives some weird… tumblr-sexyman vibes. You certainly hope you’re wrong, but then again, you hoped so too about Sans. And he turned out to be a lot creepier than you thought, when he turned out to be the Secret Boss (you guess that’s gonna be a trend amongst Chapters now), even though you loved the return of the Yellow SOUL and the Mettaton NEO fight you’d hoped for. But he… was so similar to Kris. And the fact that they yelled that “No”… It still sends chills down your spine.

Of course, that ending deserves some special mention. If you thought last Chapter’s was dramatic, then you aren’t sure of what to make outta this one. Kris opening a Dark Fountain… Are they the Knight? No… it feels too obvious. They opened a Fountain, sure, but then again Queen said anyone could… But she didn’t know about the Roaring, but Ralsei still was really afraid when Berdly was about to – Alright, you think that you should stop before you snowball. Again. Man, Toby sure knows how to pull those cliffhangers.

But now, all of that’s in the past. You’ve already done all of that. You now stand in the start menu again, listening to a beautiful rendition of Once Upon A Time… No, wait, it’s the same leitmotif, but it was… Before The Story? Weird, it plays right after it… But that changes nothing. You’ve done everything after all, right? Now all that’s left it’s to –

Wait.

You remembered.

Noelle had a very weird spell you never even used. After all, it’s not like fighting was going to change anything, so you at least tried to be nice.

…

… but if it won’t change anything, it wouldn’t hurt to try, would it?
