I’m Lasagnaaa, and you may notice that for some reason, I recently changed my username to @cetaceaqua . Actually, it’s just because I like it.
Why has the devlog of GB!Sans Fight stopped updating for so long?
I am not good at teamwork, and the members of Team GB!Sans Fight mentioned in the previous devlog are actually only loosely involved in the development. Therefore, most of the game design, art resources, and code (except the engine) are all done by me, which puts a lot of pressure on me, an inexperienced hobbyist developer.
Another important reason is that IRL I entered the second grade of high school, which means that I need to spend a lot of time studying in order to be able to enter a good university. So I can no longer have as much free time to learn and make fan games as before.
However, no matter what, I will still allocate time reasonably and try my best to complete GB!Sans Fight.
Future Plans
Engine
Since TML decided not to make an update for UnderEngine to adapt to GameMaker Studio 2.3, at the same time I also want to try to make an Undertale template in Gamemaker studio 2 to challenge myself, so in the future GB!Sans Fight is likely to be no longer "Powered by UnderEngine".
Design
I will slightly change the appearance and clothing of GB! Sans to make him look cooler.
At the same time, several new bullet designs will also be added to the game (such as the GBs that can be seen in the previous devlog) to make the battle more interesting.
Story
I am trying to create a more complete and credible background story.
Team
Since most of the previous team members are not active at present, and I still need the help of others to complete the game faster and better.
