Explanation: So, Mazen became the gods enemy because her parents came from a city where they offer their children to serve the gods. And her parents would tell her all the time that she was going to serve the gods, and they were pretty abusive, and would get angry at her if she showed any signs of leaving. The woman her father was talking to, was Mino, as her father was talking specifically to Mino to have Mino teach Mazen how to serve the gods. But Mazen just grew up bitter.. specifically because Mino actually hated the gods despite being a god, and encouraged Mazen to hate the gods. So.. yeah.
