If Ralsei's object is indeed Kris's shirt, it would solve why he doesn't petrify in other dark worlds. Ralsei doesn't belong in just one dark world, because he is an article of clothing, following Kris everywhere. There is not one specific place where Ralsei is from.

So in summary, Ralsei is Kris's Shirt. He looks like Asriel because the shirt used to be Asriel's Shirt (See original theory I made). This also gives him a reason NOT to petrify in dark worlds.
